Position Title: Executive Director
Hours: Community Outreach/Org Development: 10 hrs per week (min)
Administration/Training: 10 hrs per week (min)
Pay Rate / Status: Volunteer with monthly stipend for expenses
Reports To: Board of Directors
Supervises: Paid staff, volunteer staff, and medical team personnel
Description:
The Executive Director has total responsibility for the Restoration Pregnancy Resource Center (RPRC) operations including the implementation of the policies and procedures approved by the Board of Directors within the parameters of the RPRC’s budget. The primary areas of responsibility are community outreach, organizational development, administration and training.
Qualifications:
The Executive Director of the RPRC shall possess the following qualifications:

Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord;
- Exhibit a strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position and sexual purity;
- Agree with and be willing to uphold the Mission Statement, Statement of Guiding Principles, Statement of Beliefs, and policies of the RPRC;
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in a “help” ministry, or related experience equivalent;
- Have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in some capacity of ministry;
- Have a minimum of two (2) years experience in public relations/development activities, fund-raising, or marketing;
- Have a minimum of two (2) years experience as an administrator in an efficient and professional office where direct supervision of paid staff was required;
- Exhibit strong skills in interpersonal communication, public speaking, writing, and effective media relations;
- Be able to provide Christian-based leadership, encouragement, and direction for the staff, volunteers, and medical team personnel;
- Be willing to serve in any area that needs help in order to accomplish the work at hand as an example to others;
- Be available as needed during hours when RH office is closed including occasional evenings and weekends
- Be consistently and regularly involved in a local church family.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Executive Director of the RPRC shall have the following responsibility:
Implement the RPRC Strategic Plan as developed by the Board of Directors,including but not limited to the following:
A.Community Outreach

Represent the ministry and services of the RPRC to the community and the media;
- Educate the local community – churches, pastors, civic and professional groups – concerning the mission and activities of the RPRC and the need for their support;
- Develop a relationship with pastors, church groups and community groups through speaking engagements, attendance (networking) at community functions, website, social media, newsletters, etc.;
- Expand the resources of the ministry by inviting new contacts to volunteer in their area of expertise or interest;
- Maintain a working knowledge of other ministries/organizations that meet client needs;
B.Organizational Development

Recruit new volunteers to plan and carry out new events and/or avenues for generating revenues;
- Coordinate all fund-raising activities through the Board of Directors;
- Creatively appeal to pastors, church mission boards and other church/civic groups for financial support;
- On behalf of the ministry, maintain relationships with pastors, groups and other contacts through use of efficient contact database for communication on a regular basis;
- On behalf of the ministry, maintain relationships with donors through an efficient donor database, insuring regular communication with donors, consistent tracking of donations, and prompt acknowledgment of gifts;
- Recruit new staff or medical personnel as needed;
C.Administration

Institute prayer as the initial activity of the day-to-day operation of the RPRC;
- Provide supervision and managerial support and training to staff, volunteers, and medical team personnel;
- Conduct annual evaluations of staff, volunteers, and medical team personnel, ensuring that the evaluations are confidential and maintained in appropriate personnel files;
- Develop, in conjunction with the Finance Committee, an annual budget to be submitted to the Board for approval at the annual meeting in November;
- Adhere to financial procedures as instituted by the Board of Directors and/or the RPRC Policy and Procedures Manual;
- Ensure that the RPRC Policies and Procedures Manual is fully observed;
- Coordinate a monthly calendar of events for the RPRC;
- Conduct monthly staff meetings where minutes are recorded and maintained in the appropriate file;
- Attend all Board meetings; attend committee meetings as requested;
- Present an Executive Director’s report at each regular and annual Board Meeting, including statistical, financial, and operational details;
- Maintain attendance during regular ministry office hours;
- Obtain feedback and continually assess goals for establishment of effective ministry program. Communicate findings to Board of Directors on a regular basis.
D.Training

Coordinate the training process of all new staff, volunteers, and medical team personnel;
- Oversee volunteer in-service training and volunteer staff meetings, ensuring that policies and procedures are being followed;
- Assist in new Board member orientation.
